This Fundraiser Exhibition will run from May 1-May 15
It goes live at noon EST on May 1

The spring of 2012 was when Objective Clay officially launched as a group and each year around this time, we want to give back to the organizations which have helped bring us together and kept us moving forward as a group.  In the summer of 2016, nine Objective Clay Artists did a three week residency at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Newcastle, Maine.  During our time together, we were able to work side by side, reconnect as a group, set goals, and brainstorm ideas for the upcoming year.  It was a great time watching one another make work and we were inspired by each others processes.  We developed new friendships with artists who were also at Watershed during our residency and reconnected with old friends.  We even found a little time to work on some fun collaborative pieces which is what we are sharing with you in this Fundraiser Event for Watershed.  So, this May we are selling on our website collaborative pots made by a combination of Objective Clay artists as well as with other artists present at Watershed during our residency.

The proceeds from all sales of the work will go directly towards a scholarship at Watershed for an emerging artist to participate in a residency.

One artist who we collaborated with, Kurt Anderson, is this summer's Watershed Salad Days Resident.  You can collect more of Kurt's plates at the July 8th Salad Days Watershed Fundraiser in Newcastle, Maine.  For more information regarding Watershed, check out their website: www.watershedceramics.org/
